By adopting a child and helping them reach their potential, they help us
reach ours. An adopted child is not an unwanted child; to the contrary.
They are a child who was searched for, prayed for, cried for, begged
for; received by arms that ached, making empty hearts full. Love is meant to be shared." - Author unknown

An Evening with the Monkey King

On Friday, Aug. 10th, we went to the Children's Museum in Grand Rapids for a Monkey King event. It was a blast. Natalie was out of her mind with all the fun things to do. We even had a major meltdown when it was time to leave, complete with kicking and screaming! It was so fun to watch her running from exhibit to exhibit, laughing and jumping. What a look of sheer joy on her face. There was a life-size fishing boat, a real Beetle Bug car, giant bubbles, a bee house, kitchens, grocery store, fruit market, a Chinese kitchen with a giant wok and much, much more. Here are some pics of the fun time.
