By adopting a child and helping them reach their potential, they help us
reach ours. An adopted child is not an unwanted child; to the contrary.
They are a child who was searched for, prayed for, cried for, begged
for; received by arms that ached, making empty hearts full. Love is meant to be shared." - Author unknown

I Guess that God has Other Plans for Us

I e-mailed our agency this afternoon to inquire about the little boy and ask about our chances of adopting him. In the email I received back I was told that he is in critical condition and they suspect that he may have CP. He is not available for adoption. They did not appear too hopeful about our chances of getting a referral by the deadline. I am numb.

I'm so sorry. I'm sorry for both the little baby boy and for your family.

You must never give up. This comes from someone whom waited almost 3 years to bring home my daughter. When one door closes another will open.

don't give up, there is still time and my prayers are still bountiful and constant for your family. I am so sorry to hear about the little boy though--I hope he gets well. Stay strong.

Thank you all. Your support and encouragement helped ease the sorrow. I almost feel as though I have had a miscarriage. We are waiting for the next window to open.
