A New Start

We were asked yesterday by our agency if we wanted to try for a Special Needs child. It seems as though this type of adoption is still open in Viet Nam. So we quickly filled out the appropriate form and submitted it.

Is this the path that was meant for us?

Best of luck with this route. I am also in the Vietnam program (and suffering thru this shut-down). I received a referral of a special needs baby in March but then lost the referral in June...then the shut-down happened. My agency has also mentioned special needs adoptions but doesn't have a time frame on when they would begin receiving referrals. Feel free to email me privately.....I would love to hear what you have been told.
Take care,
