By adopting a child and helping them reach their potential, they help us
reach ours. An adopted child is not an unwanted child; to the contrary.
They are a child who was searched for, prayed for, cried for, begged
for; received by arms that ached, making empty hearts full. Love is meant to be shared." - Author unknown

New Year, New Hope!

We have discussed looking for a different country, other than Vietnam, for this long awaited baby #2. And, unless GOD has other plans for us, we are feeling a special pull toward Taiwan. Right now we are trying to find an agency that feels just right, or we might try doing this adoption - Independent! Well, with much help from GOD, that is. Taiwan is one of the few countries that do independent adoptions and the orphanages there will help you with all the Taiwan documents needed. Since we've been through the paperchase again and again, I feel that we would be able to handle this challenge.

Keep you fingers crossed that we find the right path, again!

CONGRATULATIONS ~ I have considered looking into the conditions of Taiwanese adoptions. I look forward to hearing more about your process.
