By adopting a child and helping them reach their potential, they help us
reach ours. An adopted child is not an unwanted child; to the contrary.
They are a child who was searched for, prayed for, cried for, begged
for; received by arms that ached, making empty hearts full. Love is meant to be shared." - Author unknown

Jousting at Windmills

I am beginning to feel as though I have been fighting battles that can not be fought. This adoption has been fraught with one barricade after another. We have switched countries three times, worked with three different agencies, and even tried four different orphanages. And still we are at square one. Nowhere!

How can it be that a family that wants so dearly to give a child a home (and unconditional LOVE) can not find anyone willing to help? I know that there are children out there. So many children are parent-less, lonely, scared. Why is it so impossible for the two of us to meet?
