By adopting a child and helping them reach their potential, they help us
reach ours. An adopted child is not an unwanted child; to the contrary.
They are a child who was searched for, prayed for, cried for, begged
for; received by arms that ached, making empty hearts full. Love is meant to be shared." - Author unknown

Jake is an Official US citizen!

We got Jake's Certificate of Citizenship in less than one month. Must be some sort of record.

One month ago, we were arriving home with our little blue bundle of Joy. We were exhausted and really missing Natalie. When we got off the plane, finished all the immigration and customs baloney, we walked through the doors and were greeted by Natalie running toward us. Good thing Jake was in a stroller or I might have dropped him rushing to hug Natalie. Well, not really. I never realized how much I could miss that little chatterbox till our trip to Taiwan. It was the first time that we had been apart for longer than a few hours.

Here are some pics from our trip. We had a wonderful time, but it was way too short and would have been perfect if Natalie had been there with us.

Crossing the street can be scary!

Do you think I'm cute?
